Celebrating Seven in Style: Inside Nuri’s K-Pop Demon Hunters Birthday Party
As an Atlanta event planner—and a mom—there’s nothing I love more than bringing a child’s imagination to life in a way that feels elevated, joyful, and filled with memories. This year, for my daughter Nuri’s 7th birthday, we created a playful, sparkly, and immersive kpop demon hunters birthday party at the newly opened Pokiddo Duluth GA indoor adventure park.
Even without professional photography, this celebration was too special not to share. From custom-designed party branding to a vibrant rainbow palette with star accents, the entire day felt uniquely her—full of movement, laughter, and little moments of wonder.
As one parent shared with me afterward:
“Thank you again for a wonderful birthday party, Shenika. Nuri and her friends were so happy. I think all parents and kids loved the experience, and thanks for being such a gracious host.”
The brand-new indoor adventure park Duluth GA has quickly become one of the most exciting options for a kids birthday party Duluth GA. With trampolines, slides, ziplines, rock walls, playgrounds, and themed party rooms, Pokiddo instantly creates an exciting atmosphere.
We booked Dodo’s Room, which sits on the main level with a large window facing the central walkway. This meant guests—and even passing parents—could peek inside. The décor turned heads before guests even entered the space.
We purchased the Galactic Package, which included two hours in the private party room, a mascot visit, a room attendant, and full access to the park.
2. Smooth Setup (Even on a Busy Day)
Because Pokiddo opened just three months ago, the venue stayed packed all afternoon. We arrived at 2:30 PM for a 3 PM start, which gave me time to:
Confirm table and chair counts
Install the balloon garland
Arrange themed table settings
Stage the custom props
Set up the food and favor stations
Build the photo op area
Our room attendant was extremely helpful with setup and breakdown, making everything seamless.
3. A Sparkly K-Pop Meets Huntrix Design Moment
For this K-Pop Demon Hunters birthday party, we embraced a sparkly rainbow color palette—with purple, pink, blue, white, and gold accents. The star motif carried throughout the design.
Custom elements we created included:
K-Pop Demon Hunters–inspired invitation
VIP lanyard badges
Custom designed 3-panel backdrop
Water bottle labels
Branded soda wrap labels
Ramen cup labels (not pictured)
Treat bag tags
Custom welcome signage
Balloon garland
A curated playlist from the official soundtrack
4. Nuri’s Birthday Outfit: A Lola and the Boys Moment
Every stylish K-Pop–inspired look needs shimmer. We chose aLola and the Boysjacket and skirt set—perfectly aligned with our sparkly color palette. The outfit mood board will be included so readers can see how her look tied into the theme.
5. The Mascot Appearance: Dodo Takes the Stage
Dodo’s visit was a hit! The kids ran toward the mascot for photos and hugs. A few asked, “Who is he?” which made everyone laugh, but the excitement was undeniable. Moments like this bring playful energy to any Pokiddo birthday party.
6. Cake, Cupcakes & Kid-Approved Classics
JP Sweetscreated a beautiful custom cake with ombré icing, star accents, and mini disco balls. We paired it with cupcakes and plenty of pizza—because pizza is the universal language of kids’ parties.
7. Music, Movement & So Much Joy
After singing “Happy Birthday,” I played a few songs from the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack, which led to the cutest impromptu dance party. The kids danced and sang before rushing back to enjoy trampolines, slides, and climbing features.
The younger kids gravitated toward the playground and slides, while older guests explored the adventure zones. With 45 total guests and 26 kids, the energy was high and full of joy.
Final Thoughts
This birthday celebration was a beautiful reminder that intentional design, creativity, and thoughtful touches create unforgettable moments for families.
If you’re dreaming of a stylish, themed, and stress-free kids’ celebration in Metro Atlanta, I’d love to help bring it to life.
