The design concept centered around high-fashion textures paired with lush organic elements.
Inspired by the dramatic elegance of emerald tones seen in couture fashion, the event space at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center provided the perfect backdrop.
The venue’s soaring wood-beam ceilings and expansive windows naturally created a warm, architectural backdrop. From there, we layered in a palette of:
• Emerald green and neutral linens
• Gold accents and metallic details
• Sculptural floral arrangements
• Lush greenery installations
By anchoring the room with these bold elements, the design created a sense of richness while still allowing the space to feel open, vibrant, and celebratory.
Prioritizing the Guest Experience from the Moment Guests Arrive
One of the most important principles of event design in Atlanta celebrations is understanding that the guest experience begins the moment someone walks through the door.
Instead of moving directly into the dining room, we created a pre-function experience that acted as a stylish introduction to the celebration.

For the first 45 minutes, guests gathered around high-boy tables to enjoy appetizers and custom cocktails while reconnecting with friends and family.

A lush greenery and floral backdrop created a high-impact photo opportunity, encouraging guests to capture portraits and immediately engage with the celebration.

The DJ Team layered a popular mix of soca, reggae and American hits into the space, ensuring the pre-function area felt like an upscale lounge rather than a waiting area.
This thoughtful pacing allowed guests to ease into the celebration naturally, setting the tone for the afternoon.

While guests mingled in the foyer, our team was working behind the scenes to finalize the dining space.
